5G Teknolojisine Genel Bir Bakış

The most important reason for development of mobile communication systems is ever-evolving needs. Because of these needs, expected demands from mobile communications have increased. In the beginning, especially there were systems that only have audio transmission capability. But, new systems have emerged to allow multimedia transmission and internet connection capabilities with high quality recently. One of these systems is "5G" that researchers dwell on it in these days. Rapid change has occurred from 1G to 5G technologies in mobile communication. Meanwhile, new techniques have been continuously developed to overcome existing systems’ insufficiencies or to improve existing systems. Current communication standards provide limited services to users and the quality of the services is insufficient. So, it is thought that communication capacity can be improved, data rate can be increased, old systems’ costs can be reduced, and latency can be minimized with some techniques in 5G. And also power consumption can be reduced, and hence energy efficiency can be increased. The aim of this survey is to mention issues supposed to be solved by 5G, to emphasize the important of these issues for communication systems and to make a general assessment papers which is studied about these issues.
