A Study on the Laser-Based Light Modulation System

Different techniques such as electro-optic, magneto-optic, acousto-optic methods and also some arrangements related to the mechanical choppers have been utilized in the light modulation process. But it is clear that each method has a different importance in the practical applications. A study on the laser based light modulation technique has been concerned in this work. For such a work, the necessity of an experimental arrangement consisting of He-Ne laser, optical detector, micromechanics component, oscillator and also computer, has been considered. At the end of this work some typical results have been obtained.
