Abstract
Wood is the symbol of natural and healthy a living environment. When compared to other building materials, anyone is not environmentally sustainable and eco-friendly at this level. Wooden building systems cannot be compared with other building systems in terms of energy efficiency, claimed for modern living standards of health, design or comfort standards. The world's oldest building materials is wood. Many buildings are still in use today, was built centuries ago. On the other hand new wooden building designs are preferred in many parts of the world.In wooden construction design, production of smaller structure parts in safety limits is possible only with improving mechanical properties of wood. For this purpose, nano metal oxide particles are impregnated into wood material for improving mechanical performance of the wood. In the experimental studies, effect of impregnated cooper oxide nano particles with different ratios into wood under low pressure vacuum method are examined and compressive tensile and bending of wood material have been investigated.
